It would be interesting to sort comic readers into liberal or conservative. My guess would be that there are more liberals…thank goodness! I’ve found that conservatives don’t really have a decent sense of humor.
BTW: when I speak of actual “Republicans”, they are a vanishing breed, and I use the proper name. When speaking of those who wouldn’t recognize the principles of the “real” Republican party, of only a few decades ago, who I still didn’t totally agree with, but COULD respect, even yes, Goldwater, I might “modify” the term as “more appropriate to the intellect”.
It will be interesting to see at Tampa whether any real “Republicans” do show up, or just primordial ooze from the swamp.
