When did news channels stop reporting the news and started ‘trying’ to make it?

Ralph’s got the right idea. ♪♫♪ Oh man, I need TV, when I got T Rex! ♪♫♪ (He does have headphones on down there, doesn’t he? It’s hard to see.)

Big deal stories sell news—and whatever they are advertising. Little ones don’t.

So of course they will pitch it to make it over the top.

I see the wingnuts of a certain political side still don’t know how to spell fox…

The punchline isn’t directed to just one network.

Funny to see all the anti-Fox wingnuts show up. When the other alphabet networks are so obviously in the tank for one side that it is no longer disputable. I guess some small shred of objectivity is no longer allowed.

I agree with the later commenters. All news stations love to blow stories up as much as they can and love to show fires, disasters, implosions, police chases etc ad infinitum. I watch news only in the morning and on enough delay to FF through a lot that bores, annoys or whatever ;-D
