I don’t think it’s the sky that’s green. It’s just the continuation of the golf course itself. It seems like there’s not horizon for contrast here. And the joke here is that the guy in the foreground is holding the flag at a great distance away from the hole. The second guy who is putting will miss because he will aim for the flag instead of the hole.
The joke is that the flat being held by the competitor is no where near the hole. So the guy is bound to miss the putt if he aims his put toward the flag.
I didn’t notice the flag/hole distance, so I thought the joke was that he was putting pressure on his competitor, in an effort to make him choke, by reminding him of the consequences of his next shot.I’m glad you guys pointed out the flag position, that makes it a lot funnier.
