I’m starting to understand Letterman’s genius. When the truth came out about his affair, he went right on stage and told the world all about it. It’s a story killer!!!!!
Tiger should have done the same, then we’d be have forgotten about this already.
well … it’s been way more than 24 hours now. I don’t much care about this, but I’m not really going to fault media either. Wood’s crashing into a tree and fire hydrant and being passed out and his wife clubbing a window to break it is quite a story. And now there’s the audio of his voice mail message to some woman to hide her name from her phone, and supposedly the woman is angry when she found out that she’s not the only extra-martial affair he’s having. I think it’s all sad, but I also think it’s shameful.
When you make a billion bucks out of public exposure from product endorsements, you’ve got no right to think this kind of thing ain’t gonna get some serious media speculation.
Some worship sports heroes and celebrities way too much. Woods, though, seemed to be a stand-up guy. Guess not so much.
The previous commentator, believecommonsense, is right. I agree entirely. Tiger Woods has had one heck of a fall from grace, but he’s to blame. Much like artists, athletes need not be good people in order to be great at their work.

For what he did, sure - but his fall from grace is not just his doing. What does the guy do? Play golf. Other people made him a celebrity, yet others idolize(d) him. He’s just a man, like approximately 50% of the human race. He made some mistakes, but he does not need to be any more of a moral guideline than most of us.

If you have money, are young, and get married, you are a fool!
And being on T.V. is your punishment for being a dumb@$$.

Oh, Tiger works hard for what he has. Too bad he didn’t get this out of his system BEFORE he was married. How the mighty can fall.
