Put some of that ear oil in every day for about a week before the irrigation and it won’t be painful.

SUSAN NEWMAN – The peroxide in packaged ear wax remover (referenced by Trapper John) is not the usual Hydrogen Peroxide but something called Carbamide Peroxide. (But apparently dilute Hydrogen Peroxide can be used safely too.)

I have that problem when I trim my nose hairs. I sneeze a lot more. They must also work in capturing the dust.
