As are the sanctions. I feel sorry for Bill O’Brien though. He’s got a tough job ahead of him.

Usually ignore “sports metaphors”, but this one is accurate.

Please don’t make excuses for this man. Protecting that pedophile was a crime, literally.

Maybe Paterno can posthumously retire retroactively.

From POLITICO: “The Paterno family issued a statement saying the statue’s removal ‘does not serve the victims of Jerry Sandusky’s horrible crimes or help heal the Penn State community.’”

Then again, neither did Joe Paterno.

Oh, he had a spine. What he didn’t have was enough moral character to protect the victims and stop the abuse.

Joe died conveniently. I didn’t give it much thought because of his age but my wife thinks he offed himself.

At this point, I really do not care.

Today’s NCAA ruling was extremely unfair to the players!

As one of the players, now a Pro but I forget who said it, to paraphrase, “So all those games I played and won for 4 years at Penn State never happened, uh? Then I wonder what I was doing on the field for all those games”?

THOSE ARE THE STUDENTS affected, for 13 years of playing at Penn State, they never happened. I guess that means Adam Taliferro was never injured then as well.
