I think the panels in this strip were printed in the wrong order. It makes more sense read in this order: 5, 2, 6, 3, 4, 1. (It’s still not hilarious, but at least it makes sense.)
…sick day with no pay…. Really? I never had a job that I did not have paid sick days. At least 5 a year. Just don’t get caught abusing them, or you will lose them along with your job.
When I went to school in Ohio, there was a guy who sang about Cleveland that “we’ve got the only d@mn river in the world that burns!” Ever get that fixed, or do you just set a backfire on it every so often?
