If FDR hadn’t gutted our military to pay for his unconstitutional socialist/fascist domestic policy Japan wouldn’t have attacked us in the first place.
Fun Fact, the original Tea party was a protest over the tea tariff being cut — but only for the British East India Company, giving them a virtual monopoly due to lower pricing over the wealthy merchants who were being undercut — the “protesters”.
Oh no! Affordable health care for everyone, not just the wealthy! Please, please take away my healthcare! I will sacrifice myself so that the radical wealthy don’t have to contribute to society.
@ninety_nine_percent The bill does nothing to make health care affordable. It’s just a ruse and you’ve bought into the lie. I don’t know about you, but I work. My job includes health insurance benefits. My job used to provide a high deductable plan for free. But ever since Obamacare took place, we now have to pay a significant amount. In order to keep costs somewhat reasonable, the high deductable just got higher. The bill does nothing but suck the life out of the middle class. It’s a government takeover of health care, open your eyes.
oh and @ninety_nine_percent, get a clue, I bet you’re probably among the top 1% of the world’s richest. All it takes is $50,000 a year to be among the world’s richest. Get a clue and some perspective and stop whining.
how ironic that after 1787 achieved the new USA government, independent from English domination, 221 years of elected governments produced the 2008 Obama administration that is 100% imposing home-grown “tax tyranny and government intrusion”…..IMO, voters have been “liberal-ly” brainwashed by government schools and leftist MSMedia. These are surely the Bible-predicted “last days” of God’s allowed human government and corruption.
right says “If the goal was truly affordable health care for all, government would have never been allowed to get involved.” I guess that’s why before the government got involved everything was perfect. Gosh, I remember it well, back in the old days of Bush and Clinton and Bush, everyone had health insurance, it was cheap, premiums never went up, there was no problem about pre-existing conditions, yep, those were the good old days. Then Obama had to come along and screw things up.
So much intricate artwork, to display partisan stupidity. Oh, right the tea party was “partisans”, who would all probably shoot those claiming today to carry on in their shoes. It was about the 1% controlling all the money flow back then, today’s TEA party, has the wrong target!!
Obamacare is not about healthcare – it’s about consolidated power for the government and redistribution of wealth. Any other conversational threads are from people who either aren’t paying attention or are a little “slow” in the head.
To Farley55—they must be slow in the head, for the first comment right out of the starting gate was about WWII.Did I miss something in todays cartoon, was there a Japanese submarine lurking somewhere in Boston Harbor?I just get so confused when the Loony-Libs try to make points that aren’t at the apex of their noggins…I can just see a hoard of Loony-Libs running to the dictionary to find out what ‘apex’ means…hilarious it what it is, especially that Loonly-Lib that thinks ‘debt’ is spelled with a ‘p’ . . . maybe he should try out for Jim Carey’s roll in the sequel to “Dumb and Dumber”, I’m sure he’d get the part.

The problem is that they can’t immigrate legally because they don’t speak either of our official languages.

The difference between “Then” and “Now” is that no one was being FORCED to buy tea.
