Rounding up the bad guys! Only Blaze and Davey among the missing and I’m willing to guess that they’re tomorrow’s strip. Team Tracy has made this hot summer even hotter! I may have to start reading Mary Worth to cool down!
More survivors than first appeared to be the case! Some of these baddies must be well-nigh indestructible, considering the amount of lead-poisoning they’ve survived! And, Sam, if the CSI’s get on the job fast enough, they still might find some trace of Panda at the bottom of the pool, maybe a toe or two inside that indigestible Converse sneaker!

I agree, somebody’s got to clean that pool sooner or later. Not sure what brand of shoe that might be, although it looks like a Con, it has a different sole unlike the con that wore it, who had no soul! Thanks Sam for the role call, nice work.
Am I the only one who wants Davey to pull through, give up his life of crime, and then have Blaze, touched by his efforts to protect her, hook up with him?
uhhhh….the way Blaze has been drawn, I don’t think she’d be hooking up with any GUY….always thought it was another pretty commendable move by Joe and Mike to make ALL readers feel accepted and part of the script here, and gave them a big thumbs up for it….
sorry guys….I believe Davey was officially pronounced dead awhiles back with Mikes comment “scorecard correct” (same day Panda went for a ride in his barracuda, I think…)
Mike told us that six bad guys would die. They are Davey, the three from the Mumbles quartet, Teevo and Panda. Everyone else is accounted for — either in custody or free (Blaze).
Kadaver, BB Eyes, Mumbles, DoubleUp, and the Mushroom Lady are going to be surprised if they’re depending on help from Panda or Mr Crime. I guess only Blaze knows that the Mr Crime organization is over. How will Tracy figure it out?
funny, sam makes no comment about blaze.. maybe tracy’s team didnt KNOW she was there to begin with? hopefully we’ll see more of ms rize in the future.
thank you Mike….because to me, acceptance of everyone is about as NON-labeling and stereotyping as you can get! (maybe I should play it safe from now on and just shout my place in line every day though, huh?lol….)
if the barracuda completely ate panda, then the sock and sneaker wouldnt be floating (or sinking) like that.. thered HAVE to be part of his foot (from the ankle down at least) still inside the shoe.. and theres no blood in the water either! curious ;)
That barracuda had to be really starving to eat a human. They don’t have stomachs big enough to eat a whole human being. Unless there was more than one.
Barracudas usually go after fish whose scales shine while in motion through the water, per a documentary of barracudas that attacked humans only because of something they had seen shining on their diving gear.
Panda is with Mordred…. (look to the storyline before Joe Stanton and Mike Curtis took over the strip a year and a half ago if you don’t get the reference…)

That last panel really has a “Gouldian” feel to it – a dialogue box with a silent panel, fairly throbbing with significance. Wow!
