Yes, the only thing more inappropriate to this chat thread than politics is an endorsement of the backwards-thinking- self-interested priorities of the Republican party, particularly when espoused by people who don’t know that “Republican” is a proper noun and hence requires capitalization, even by those who do not share their values, like me, at all.
