Looks like Mr. Crime and Double Up have spent the entire night having a Scarlet Sting movie marathon. Poor Blaze. A nice little bit of humor in the midst of the action. (grin) So will Blaze get Davey out safely, and if so, will he continue his life as Mr. Crime? What plans does Double Up have for this “guest” of his? What are Kadaver and B-B Eyes planning to do?I am on the edge of my seat with anticipation!

What can I say? This gets better by the day!

Oh no! I hope all that pizza doesn’t go to waste!Seriously, it looks like Blaze has decided to act as Davey’s bodyguard, as he originally requested. Could she be going “soft” for him? Is it too late for it to matter?Tarry, you aren’t the only one on the edge of his seat!

Davey has let the cat out of the bag. Of course it may not matter if Double Up is one of the fatalities.

Isn’t Davey Mr. Crime’s nephew, so the “we” could be both he and his uncle? This is the one strip that I really hate to see in only three panels a day.

Team Tracy has done it again!!!! Bravo!!!

Groggily, our lovely Ms. Rize awakes

But there is no doubt, she has just what it takes

For action and for danger she has that certain feel

Rather reminds me, of the redoubtable Mrs. Peel

In evening gown and high heels she certainly is a vision

It’s fortunate for Davey, she’s also a woman of decision

“Calm down, just relax, everything will be o.k.”

“Just as long as you remember to do exactly what I say”

Doubleup, his mouth agape, ponders what he heard

Will he see the significance of that telling word?

But his ruminations will just have to wait

Else he will wind becoming the very late

That the end would come like this, they just had to know

Bitter fruit is their harvest, from the seeds they did sow

Who will live, who will die, tomorrow we may learn

But until then, in anticipation we must surely squirm.

Poor Davey is going to say too much or say the wrong thing… oh wait! He already has. I’d say I can’t wait until tomorrow, but I have too much to do today.

On top of the A-! story and rendering add a second day of message board vintage radio references and who knows what evil lurks…

It’s Dick Tracy!” indeed!Pardon me if I gloat – back on the 20th, when Tracy was talking about getting a warrant, I said essentially that Davey would still be visiting his “secret lair” when the good guys crashed their party – and I was RIGHT! (Boy, am I surprised!)No question – this is Team Tracy’s best story yet!

Blaze looks a little “curvier” than before.

ok, “Tracy’s here! get ready!” spoken by BB Eyes as he races forward with a gun makes it clear they intend to fight and not slip out some secret back door. But it’s also hard to believe the sharper ones in the bunch, starting with their leader, Panda (as well as Kadaver, at least) believe they could win a shootout when surrounded by Tracy & Co……I’m seeing the liklihood of a “split” here…….with the dumber ones being used as a gunfight diversion by Panda, etc as they try to leave undetected…….or even to lure Tracy’s bunch into the (brrrrr)……vines!

We are pretty mean, aren’t we.
