Actually, I have no idea. But I do know that sharks have been known to make their way into fresh waters. I read of one a few years ago that managed to move into fresh water, and it killed a number of people.
As copied from Wikipedia,, It is found in suitable habitats from Northern Australia through Southeast Asia to the eastern coast of India. So im thinking these here sharks are bull sharks which can go into fresh water,, lol
