    Not long before he passed away at the age of 89, I asked my Dad how many pills he took each day. The answer was 17! And this was before the final decline which took a couple of months. Before that he was in pretty good shape for a guy his age.

    I too had a parent who had multiple pills to take in the morning. I wonder if I could file a malpractice suit with the claim that my parent died from over-prescriptions.

    My dad died in good physical and mental health at the age of 95. He would have turned 96 that July 4th, Firecracker Baby. He only took 2 pills. Blood pressure and one heart pill.
