Call a teenager for help!

What is my step-father doing in todays strip? He keeps getting the Sat-TV receiver and TV and DVD player all out of sync. I will hear th load roar of static and go in the living room to find him about to throw the remote about once a day at least.

The whole comic is full of static. Is there a point behind all that pixellation?

Yes my mom goes through same issues since government demanded converter box control.

He never had that problem with his Atwater Kent radio!

Is this symbolic of the older characters finally freezing and breaking into bricklike pixels?

Modern technology does have its problems.

If a Skeezix strip looked like it was run off on a broken-down mimeograph machine, it’d still be better any featuring Slim and Clovia.

Never store your sander/grinder cutting wheels with your movie DVDs.

Some DVD players (like the one I won as a door prize a couple of months ago) have a PAL button so you can play DVD on a non-North American (NTSC standard TV). He may have pushed that. Then again his DVD player could just be shot.
