This cartoon rests on the completely wrong assumption that the President can only pay attention to one element at a time, and the equally wrong assumption that the President should act only on behalf of the uber-rich, corporations,and whites.
His first term has been disappointing on the environment, and yes union, fronts, due to his pandering to the right to get ANYTHING done with total opposition. Now in the second term, hopefully, more campaign “promises” will be met, because all the “TEA party” types will be gone. Ohio could also do us all a favor by giving Boehner more time to tan and play golf.
I love how the “righties” accuse the “left” of fomenting hate. Exactly how is accepting diversity, and human rights “hate”, while DENYING rights, and diversity-with attacks and ferocity, is “love”??
The political right complains that President Obama caves too much. Funny. They would complain nonstop if Obama hadn’t given Republicans every single opportunity to cooperate instead of obstruct. I’m still not convinced he’s learned his lesson.
