Blaze Rise looks really badass in panel 2! I wouldn’t want to run into her in a dark alley! This bugging of the MCU is a real problem for Tracy and his colleagues. I hope they manage to find about it, somehow, soon!
i was confused for a second until i saw the last panel. tracy’s team is in trouble and they dont even know it! btw.. top SIX for me today? WOO HOO!!! lol
I think that the Chief is the mole! In panel 1 you see the Chief looking at Liz and then in panel 3 you see both Liz and Sam from the same point of view. The Chief must be wearing some sort of mini camera transmitting video to Panda’s house. Ergo, the Chief is working for Mr. Crime!! I’m sure this will cause much consternation among Tracy fans, but I gotta tell it the way I think it is.
Yesterday, Mumbles “lawyered up” before they even took him in to HQ, so how are they legally able to interogate him today? Or is his lawyer letting him make a statement?
@Rx71Wm29Sorry to shoot you down, but the first time Panda showed his crew the spy cam view (May 1), the chief (and his hat) was seen talking to Tracy. As I think I said before, it would be a lot more effective for the mole to tap into the station’s computerized security system. The “hidden camera in the cheif’s hat” trick is a neat idea, though.
I didn’t think John Russco was being “inflammatory” and he did include “(being nice)” in his “clown” comment. Things like that can be said in fun and without anger.
I’m not to sure they are using the police station security cameras. the angles are always from down low looking up. Security cameras are located near the ceiling. I think the hat idea may be out for the same reason, but a broach or a badge might be about the right height. Maybe even a belt buckle. It could even be something as innocuous as a pen in the pocket.
Hmm…. Lizz is wearing a necklace and Sam always has on a bow-tie. These sort of accessories and habits could be used against our team of heroes. Of course, such a tiny bug wouldn’t have the best picture quality or souund. I wouldn’t want to watch it on a big screen anyway. That implies a bigger bulkier bug, but one that the team doesn’t see, or recognize as a camera and mic. Hmm…
Such perceptive comments always about the artwork and character placements — so scripters: let’s not flub here — in Panel One, “Mumble’s” should have the apostrophe after the final s. (Some grammarians would also approve writing the possessive of a noun ending in s "Mumbles’s.)
The ‘mole’ is obviously electronic intel, but how and or who, I don’t like to think the Chief is willingly in on it. Knowing Panda, I wouldn’t be surprised if he had some leverage over who or whatever intro’d that bug…
… and I still think Mumbles’ life is on thin ice. He ticked Panda off (and I think there is no, ‘Mr. Crime’) and with Blaze in his ear, that’s a dangerous place to be. Even incompetent crooks see a need to eliminate loose ends…

Check out Mumble’s silhouette in panel one. Panda, Littleface and Blaze look like they’re in front of a large screen entertainment center!

That’s because they are. Ref the strip where Panda introduced the equipment.

that was going to be my theory, trimguy. The chief could be bugged without his knowledge.

There is no reason for the name calling or the inflammatory remarks.

Funny thing is, you’re not supposed to wear a hat indoors. Never saw a cop who did.
