Ted Rall for May 07, 2012
Transcript:
Q: I lost my job. What is Obama doing about unemployment? A. Obama killed Osama Bin Laden. Q: How does that help me find a job? (Sorry- we hired Osama Bin Laden instead.) (Totally won't happen now!) A: Now you don't have to compete with Osama Bin Laden for a job. Q: But he's only one guy. A: Obama is using drones to kill lots of other people. Which means fewer applicants for that great job you want. Q: But that's in other countries. (Unemployment: -!) A: Funny you should mention that.

Uh, no I don’t think that’s quite the point here. Ted has his own point of view and has never been shy about calling out anyone.

Obama has done better on private sector jobs than either of the Bushes. Where he’s hurt the economy is in public sector jobs, where he runs into the GOP fillibuster of anything that could help the economy (jobs bills, aid to states to keep them from firing teachers and cops, consumer protection, breaking up too-big-to-fail banks). It’s a sad thing, and is doing lasting damage to America, but hardly a reason to vote for Republicans instead.

What’s really funny is that some people think the other side could do a better job. Reality is that government, the economy and currency went off the rails a long time ago, and no manipulation by either side is going to make a whit of difference.
So the choice is : vote for the side that wishes to continue societal supports to ease practical suffering ( however inflationary or " enabling", lol) or the side that wishes to employ slash and burn policies that will hurt people and the economic recovery even more, while doing absolutely nothing to address debt and deficit ( yes, Ryan, I’m talking about your plan).

“Hey Ted R U still a Democrat?”
I’m pretty sure Ted doesn’t consider himself a Democrat. I’d be surprised if he EVER did.

They have subtler ways of killing us. But, yes.

Rall leans a bit more to the left, yes, but that’s just an artist thing for the most part – he’s willing to lampoon anybody. So, let me get this straight – drone attacks are the President’s way of dealing with excessive outsourcing?
