Hi everyone!.Throughout the course of this week, I’m going to be posting six Cul de Sac tribute strips on my Sherpa strip, I’m a Dillo!  I was very impressed with all of the cartoonists who pitched in for Richard several weeks ago, and I wanted to show my appreciation for Richard Thompson as well..I’ve just uploaded the second of six tribute strips.  If you’re at all interested, I would love if you came to check it out!.http://www.gocomics.com/i-m-a-dillo.-Greg Trail

If this is a rerun, I missed it the first time around, so I’m happy to see this.

It seems fitting that I am reading this strip as I listen to archived interviews with Maurice Sendak on Fresh Air.

And for those of us who came to Cul-de-Sac only recently, reruns rock!

Dill need not stress over the situation because the shopping cart is still alive. You can tell because it is not laying on its side.

Dill (panel 1) sounds like Sheldon from Big Bank Theory. Maybe he’ll grow up to become a nerd. But for now, he’s a Cart Wrangler, and there’s work to be done! Yahhoo!

For newcomers, you can go ack to the beginning and read the entire series. I’ve done it three times, they’re great comics!

@Doctor Toon, Brilliant! It’s not uncommon to see a feral cart in many of my daily travels. And if you feed them, …

Ah, memories. A couple of homes ago, somebody dumped a cart into a nearby pond. Sick of seeing it in there, I lassoed it using a long dog leash and pulled it back to shore. It was completely coated in green muck. I delighted in bringing it back to its store’s cart corral, leaving it there without explanation, and imagining how perplexed the cart jockey would be upon encountering it.
