Before going into the shower, always put your glasses in exactly the same place, each time, every time. Otherwise if you’re alone in the house you’ll just have to wait for someone to come home and help you find them before you resume normal operations. Ask me how I know this.

I sometimes stay overnight in a relative’s house with faux stone counters, sort of crushed marble bits in resin, shiny, same colors as my tortoise-y wire-rims. Any time I take them off they disappear. Have to appropriate a tissue to put under them every time.
