Mrs. Godfrey! There's a cat in the classroom! That's my Ollie! There are painters working at my house today, and the poor baby was so terrified I had to bring him to work! Ha ha! Imagine being afraid of something so silly! Imagine! Get it away.

From a funny British show called “Are You Being Served?”, about the staff at a London department store. She was a single, old lady who had a cat. I think it was from the 1970’s but here in the U.S. they’d play it on PBS not to long ago.

There used to be an urban legend that if you had a cat in the same house with a baby, it would try to get on the baby’s face and smother it. Nonsense, of course.

I apparently missed something. I didn’t know Nate was afraid of cats. How did that come about? As for cats attracted to people who hate them, not always true. I’ve had friends’ cats come up to me as soon as I walk in the door and it was the first time they ever saw me. And I like cats. Have one now along with 2 dogs. I’ve always had both.

THIS could be the (much needed, IF Nate’s going to pass in school for the entire rest of his life!) "cat"alyst that could finally bond Nate & the G Lady. (I actually thought this was happening back at that water fountain fracas in January, but that sorta petered out and withered away! MAYBE this time!)
