has the training lost all moral standards? or is it a scarcity of moral men applying for secret service security jobs? Our government employees should be models of trustworthiness and the best representatives of the USA possible. this is shameful for Americans.

It was not just the secret service it was the military also. Twice as bad, and the left says we are hanged up on sex see what happens when anything goes. That lady Senator got it right, she said something like: We don’t know who these women are what they attended. They could have been working for the Cartels or the FRAC or a foreign government. They could have planted listening devices learned the President schedule disabled their weapons. We need to know all these things. Smart Woman.

I understand why the Secret Service Agents “cut loose”, it’s what you do when you’re working in a particularly hideous job, like fighting in a war, or protecting an idiot …sometimes it’s best to find a sweet young thing (most are paid for anyway, either by dinner and a movie or some other means of enticement), pay for her services and just have fun, it was much the same when I was in the Navy four decades in the past, it’s called Liberty Call!

Most of us outside the US see the country as a militaristic one with a heavy Evangelical influence. Personally, were I a US citizen I’d like to see a greater public accountability from business, government, military. The whole world needs a major shake-up and it starts from ground level. I don’t have the answer – but someone will.

Is prostitution LEGAL in Columbia? Were these guys ON DUTY when they frolicked? If the answer is “no” in both cases I don’t see what the big deal is. If the answer is “yes”, they should all be canned.

I have to say, attempts to lay this at the door of Democrats, and by association Obama, are very few and half-hearted at best. I’ve come to expect better from our right leaning friends. Even Ramirez can’t seem to find an angle!

Another thing that strikes me is the lack of pure howling rage that often greet stories of incompetence or dereliction of duty. Too many sacred cows at large perhaps?

While I do agree that there is a possible security exposure here, I think it’s inappropriate for us to control the very sex lives of individuals, especially the military. Not that I’m proud of it, but the US Military has a very… active sex life. Why is it now that it’s suddenly an issue? Just curious about the timing, is all.
