Uh-oh……. Pierre gave her a hickey, perhaps?

Something’s afoot, but I’m not sure it’s “the game”!

This is going to be one awkward afternoon. Let the Ditzyness begin.

A simple “FIRST POST!” would have sufficed. Go back and read last week’s strips. Pierre only asked Donna if Kacey was single. They haven’t dated. This will be much better, if not funnier.

Interesting that though this comic is supposed to star Mona, Donna’s the one who has carried this strip at times when Mona starts to grow stale.

Grapfhics: Good question. Today is a day we all need to stop and remember.

Is this going to be awkward because she has a hickey, which there is no need to discuss further; or because she thinks Donna may be hitting on her? Maybe she feels that she needs to tell Donna that there’s something going on between her and Pierre. Don’t we all enjoy a good soap opera?

I’d bet the hickey was from the ex-fiance if he hadn’t shown up in Hawaii with someone else…

Hey, thanks for remembering that today is indeed December 7th. And we most definitely should never forget. Seems that no-one is mentioning this on the news, or anywhere. Like it never even happened…sad. So many died on that day. Heros all.

It doesn’t seem to be living in infamy any more, does it? Brett Baier on Fox Special Report did a short piece on it tonight.

    The story line is good…

Yes, Pearl Harbor is mostly forgotten today. At work today, at a meeting, I asked, “What happened 68 years ago today?” Everyone at the meeting but me was under 50 years of age - none of them could answer the question. Yet, when the anniversaries of Hiroshima and Nagasaki roll around, there will be no end of remembering by the media and others. Let me tell you, my father was in one of the lead destroyers in the USA invasion fleet on its way to Japan when president Truman made the RIGHT decision to drop those bombs. If he hadn’t, and the invasion had gone on as it had been planned, my father would almost certainly have been killed, along with more than an estimated ONE MILLION DEAD!! Do not ever try to tell me it was a bad decision to use the bombs!

Who are you remembering it for? A simple question as I wonder if the people who were actually there and lived through it really want to keep being reminded. War is wrong. Dick-measuring contests about who was wronger seem pointless as you have had a decent relationship with Japan for about 73 years. (And my country and Germany for a similar time.) Try not to let these things repeat. Actually learn from history don’t just memorize it.
