Amen to that and for those loony-liberals that comment on this cartoon and don’t like my reference to religion…pound sand!

In trying to run as a populist, Mr. Obama thinks he needs to dumb down the content of his speeches so average Americans can understand. He goes a step too far when he states mistruths as fact. In other words, he lies. He must think the average American is too stupid to verify the made-up facts he spews in his halting orations. If we are that stupid and continue to vote for him, then we truly deserve this lying scoundrel as president.

At the same time,it’s amazing how often folks, especially conservatives, MIS- apply the Marbury vs Madison decision. (as well as quite a few others)

The difference is the republican presidents haven’t openly complained and condemned the court before the court has ruled. Sure, they complain after the fact, but never have they brazenly and openly challenged the SCOTUS to a pissing contest. It’s not that he’s complaining about the judges, it’s that he’s complaining openly and pre-emptively. It smacks of Chicago Politics where you smear the opposition to discredit them so when they make a decision you don’t like they won’t have the support of the people. So… yeah. Republican presidents have done it, but never publicly before the ruling came down. The distinction is important.

You might want to delete your post. Not only is it not constructive, but it is downright offensive to the SCOTUS. Last I checked, most people don’t resort to name calling unless their position is untenable.

Mr. Obama received a J.D. from Harvard. He was the editor of the Harvard Law Revue journal. He taught Constitutional Law at The University of Chicago as a professor. As an accomplished lawyer who specialized in teaching Consitutional law, Mr. Obama knows about Judicial Review. He ignored all of his knowledge and training in order to make some dumb politically-motivated statements.
