Chaffee and other Republicans are the ones who came up with the “individual mandate”, period. NOW they’re against it?
Actually, I am too, when it comes to requiring PRIVATE CARRIER insurance, but expanding the cheaper single payer concept, with private physicians, like many other countries are proving highly efficient, where INSURANCE COMPANIES aren’t pulling all the strings, is a good idea.
