Based on the incident after WWI when George Barnard Shaw titled his play Closed for Remodeling. He was upset about critics of his anti-war position. Attendance was understandably rotten, and it closed in two of the four theaters before an owner figured out what was wrong and retitled it Heartbreak House. He died before he finished his play, Quarantine, thus saving theaters further trouble.

An extreme local environmentalist told me I shouldn’t plant Mexican petunias because they may escape into the wild.I offer “The Escaped Petunias” as a band name.

There was a band in the SF Bay Area named “Free Beer”. Don’t know how much of a success they were, as I don’t care very much for beer, but they confused the hell out of me for weeks.
