Mexico's Blind Cave fish are born with eyes- but skin soon grows over them and they are rendered sightless! Citizens of the Inca Empire paid their taxes in the form of physical work! When the Aral Sea in Central Asia shrank to a tiny fraction of its original size due to 20th century water diversion projects, it left behind a desert littered with the hulls of rusting ships!

Imagine physical work to pay off your taxes! We could kill 2 birds with one stone: balance the budget with all the unemployed and underemployed (and all those lazy, bloated fat cats); and lower our nation’s obesity and other health related problems from lack of exercise. It’s a Win-Win!
