The caption reads, “Sorry I’m Late, Traffic was Insane.” from another cartoon web site. A third site also had the caption cut off, so it isn’t the fault of GoComics.
I talked to the powers that be and it looks like a tech glitch, that’s now been corrected. They were adding zoom to the cartoon, which is a nice touch. Now when you click the cartoon it goes all incredible hulk on ya. Except for the green, and the muscles. Oh, never mind.
