Technological progress is not instantaneous. The Ford Model A did not become the Cadillac overnight. (I use that analogy because I’ve ridden in one, driven the other.) The Model A had it’s detractors – scares the horses and hard to start in winter you know. Progress requires men and women of vision, high risk venture capital, and patience.
