    41 degrees at 1:28 am in Brooklyn. Now, as to why I’m still up at 1:28 am, you can blame the troop of tap-dancing elephants upstairs.

    A quick and easy centigrade to Fahrenheit calculation: take the C temp, double it, subtract 10 percent, and add 32 to get the exact F temp. If you’re handy with math, you can do it in your head.
