How can you object to eating one part of an animal and not to eating another part of it? I love eating the gristle at the end of a chicken leg. I love the marrow in a t-bone. I love the smooth taste of tongue. Seriously, if you’re a meat-eater, go for it. If only they hadn’t called it “slime” I don’t think it would have made the news.
A great strip! I don’t just mean today’s strip, either. Congratulations, Jen Sorensen, on your Herblock finalist prize. I read about your receiving the award this morning and saw your work for the first time on gocomics. I’ve looked at all your strips since last September today. You are indeed a national treasure! Saw your picture at the award site, too. You are truly both gifted and beautiful. You see truth and help us to see it, too. Thank you for what you do.

Mmm, ammonia. We should all love eating chemically treated rectum.
