I’ll bet the Pennys were part of some lab experiment that went awry!!

    They look like babushka dolls.

The one on the right is a bit more “rotund”.

Kinda looks like Burl might be sniffing the pig’s transmission.

I guess the twin would be the younger of the two. I agree with Leaky, the Pennys must be proof of something, anything! Surely their parents didn’t drown them at birth like excess kittens for some good reason. Or maybe they are proof that wart hogs—for looks—were fertilized by algae—for intelligence.

Nobody has mentioned that the mother must be highly intelligent too…. in order to have given the twins (or the twin and his brother?) the same name.I think all of Crustwood must have been a lab experiment. Some secret chemicals devised during WWII…got into the water and affected all the babies born during the next 20 years…and caused latent personality disorders in their mothers… like Joy and Verl’s Ma. BTW it’s a pig.In fact, acesover gave away the location.

Forgot to say Good Morning All!And Roberts I and II look sturdy enough to be pushing Mom.Isn’t 2nd grade a little old for a stroller? And speaking of “toddlers” — is Burl being careful to keep an eye out for anyone from U-Store-It, in case he needs to start limping pathetically?

Do these people start each day by writing “Breathe In” in one palm and “Breathe Out” in the other?

As Gymshoe said, It will be in the 80s today and tomorrow in Crustwood, but our predicted high of 76 for today will be warmer with full sun, and our weather says 84 tomorrow and ony 80 and cloudy there, and then that rain we had last weekend will arrive there. All the oranges I could reach without the pole are gone (because I let the kids and other neighbors help themselves (I offer them the pole/basket too, but it isn’t easy (hate to see them go to waste).

Is the mother of the twins pushing 2 separate strollers or a tandem? Looks like enough handles and wheels.

Where are the “safety” straps for the stroller? I guess the twins must be too fat for them. Why not give them the same name? Maybe they’re spelled differently. Or the names may not be nicknames but their real names. Oh well, it’s easy for Granma to remember. Another clueless day in Crustwood. Apparently, the Pennys aren’t the only clueless ones. lol

I love this strip. I have twins (boy and girl 18 now) when they were young I was asked all the time, “Are they identical?” No, they are BOY AND GIRL fraternal. Now my twin grandsons are 3. You really can not tell them apart. They refer to themselves as A and E. People now ask, are they brothers? What? Yes, they are brother’s dressed alike, same everything. If people could only hear themselves talk.

There must be something in the Crustwood water. That mom is as big an obliviot as the Pennys, naming twins Bob and Bobby. As soon as they are able, I hope the boys escape to Wurth.

LOL, Bob and Bobby. It’s easy to remember which one Bob is because Bob spelled backwards is Bob.

My 2 eldest boys were just a year and 10 days apart (so could have been called “Irish twins”) and they looked identical for most of their childhood (wearing the same size clothing, as the younger was larger at birth- a full 9#). They are both over 6’ tall and very athletic now in their 50s, but the younger who has always taken care to avoid hair loss now looks much better. My X had lost much hair before our wedding when he was 29. The youngest boy and my daughter are taller than I, but more average.

Perhaps none of you are old enough to remember Eliza (or have no interest in artificial intelligence). I would totally love seeing the Pennys try to use it (as the sister of my BF did, thinking it would predict her fortune). She would have fit in with the Crustwood crowd.
