A dentist (or doctor or lawyer or contractor or…..) who knows what he’s doing would refuse to treat or deal with any Pennys, or any Penny friends or relations.

But they’ll be OK in a couple of weeks, after their walk.

I think Julie just likes the word Dong-Dongs cos it describes this bunch so well.

But it’s also possible that they buy Ho-Ho-shaped Little Debbies, for half the price, or even cheaper off-brand snack cakes,

and put them in a well-worn Hostess box… in case anybody drops by.

Never mind that it’s from a different product.

Come to think of it I don’t know what a Ding-Dong looks like – are they the greasy hockey pucks?

I used to love Hostess cupcakes, back when either they were more like food or I was less discerning…..but I never did like the hockey pucks.

[Or those round pink things (?) that choke you with loose coconut.]

Oh, and Leaky…in my vintage clothing dealer days, we called them “Come-F-Me- Pumps.”

There’s only one option, Burl, and that ain’t it.

Never mind which one of them is the smartest? just accept that Julie is seriously bent! and I love her mind!

Probably stopped at the “day-old” store for the snacks on the way home from the Dentist.

@SusanSunshine, the Ding Dongs are the hockey puck shaped things. Burl will be wearing false teeth soon enough, after he gains more weight. lol

Well, I think the shoes are cute, and with a high enough heel, I will look better in the family photos (along side my children who are all taller than mom, and all the grandkids). The only grandkid shorter than me is the one born of daughter’s 2nd marriage who is now in 3rd grade.

Thanks, Leaky, for the song/video! Fitzroy watched it sitting on my shoulder. Video was cute, but really never showed a bird, just many other animals and peculiar humans who would fit in with Burl and his ilk.

True, I was married back in 1959 and my wedding dress was just a sample dress (because I wore the sample size of the time) My veil was special, because I spent many weeks embroidering the silk mesh with silk threads. Susan, I agree that most of the Hostess products (hockey pucks. cupcakes and pink coconut balls) were horrid, but when I was a kid I really liked Twinkies and HoHos. I’m sure I’d be disappointed if I tried them now because I think that Hershey “chocolate” used to be palatible. When we drove past Nestle on the expressway it smelled yummy even shortly before I moved.
