my 8 year-old niece got a splinter, and all the adults wore bifocals and no one was able to see well enough to get to the splinter. It was this comic with little kids added! Since I could feel it, I put a piece of duct tape over it (lightly) – the adhesive grabbed the splinter and out it came.

I sympathize though. That would be me with the bifocals.
