His philandering notwithstanding, given the short time that he was the president, Kennedy was the worst president of the USA since the WWII..On the foreign front: His weakness exhibited by the Bay of Pigs debacle and then in the meeting with Khrushchev brought about the blockade of Berlin, then the wall, and ultimately the Soviet missiles in Cuba. While his handling of the Cuban Missile crises is being hailed by many as a major achievement – in reality it was was one of the greatest and longest lasting failures of American foreign policy: While Kennedy waited to act – for months, leading up to the actual delivery and pending installation of the nuclear missiles, before he confronted the Soviets, and then in the most public forums – at the UN, and embarrassed them . . . . which brought the World to the brink of WWIII. The Communists in the Warsaw Pact countries issued live ammunition to its ‘general’ military – that was unprecedented as communists did not trust the ‘foot’ soldiers with weapons . . . . . In the end, the settlement required us to shut-down our listening station in Turkey, along with other unpublished appeasements, but most importantly, it triggered the incredible nuclear arms race whereby the USSR had quantitatively substantially surpassed the US in virtually every aspect, bringing about the MAD policy. Further, Kennedy started our ‘excursion’ to Vietnam . . . ..On the domestic front: While he lowered the marginal tax rates (very good), he also allowed by way of an executive order for public employees to unionize – how’s that for the practice of the plagiarized ’ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country". That single executive order has triggered the greatest explosion of economic cancer in the US, ever.
As long as they are consenting adults, I don’t give a rats butt what they are doing, democrat or republican, in their private lives. MY QUESTION IS HOW GOOD ARE THEY AT THEIR JOB?
JFK having relations outside of his marriage. What about Thomas Jefferson, why aren’t his affairs big news? Let’s dredge up as much dirt as we can about irrelevant events.
@petergrt,and don’t forget, bush repeatedly ignored the warnings about 911. misleading us and the world into the wars would have been sufficient to make him the worst president in modern times and probably ever.
but ignoring the multiple warnings about 9-11 (the republicans will tell you they were not from reliable sources, ie. they came from clinton people). but as it turns out, they were entirely credible.
and the republicans are totally against any kind of paper audit trail in diebold voting machines. I don’t understand how anyone can be against audit trails in voting machines.
Bush needed his Pearl Harbor to give him manly cred, and Bin Laden had his harem, so no worry about interns & thong underwear…strictly burka, and Allah’s standard of modesty & virtue.

There seems to be a cottage of industry of ex-mistresses of Kennedy suddenly popping up to write books. Sheesh.

Would be better if it had been “dont ask what my country can do for you, ask who you can do in your country”

and they considered gore and the other high ranking clinton officials who tried to warn them, ‘discredited’. they still call them ‘discredited’.
