FAMOUS COSTUMED CRIMEFIGHTERS SCHOOLBoca Raton, FLLesson #19: Staying in CharacterHaving a moment where you revert to your true personality is excusable if (like the aspiring crusader depicted above) you do it in the safety of your lair, and ONLY in front of your sidekick. However, care should be taken to avoid this happening in the first place, for nothing blows a secret identity faster than carelessness.Remember, the costume – no matter how cheesy or sparse – usually makes people forget everything else. (Refer to Unneeded Glasses, K. El/C. Kent, Class of ‘33, Dean Emeritus), but this is not to be relied upon too heavily. Sooner or later, someone’s going to start thinking, “Y’know, without that ____________, Bob looks/acts/sounds a lot like Captain Whatever…” (Refer to Lois Lane FINALLY Figures it Out, same alumnus) In the depiction case, the prospective hero has made the unfortunate (and, for modern times, slightly ridiculous) choice of referring to himself in the third person. Once you start with a manner of deportment, however slight, the crusader must hang on to it or risk the entire scheme falling apart. This is why most graduates never start with that particular manner in the first place – once your career begins, you’re going to have too much on your mind to try to remember such an increasingly obsolete detail…

Good morning Annie fans. What dastardly deed will the PC do next? Will Annie be forced to lead a life of crime? Have an awesome day my friends.
