Good morning Annie fans. The Phantom Commando is definitely shy a few bricks of a full load. And his cornbread isn’t done. Have an awesome day everyone.
FAMOUS COSTUMED CRIMEFIGHTERS SCHOOLBoca Raton, FLLesson #20: Personal IssuesLet’s be honest – SOMETHING drove you to take up this life. Most crusaders do this sort of work fror a reason; personal vendetta, accident, loss of a loved one, deal with the government for staying out of jail, etc. With the exception of K. El/C. Kent (Class of ‘33, Dean Emeritus) no one takes up crimefighting out of a sense of training or obligation. (“What made you what you are? Girlfriend killed by the mob, maybe? Brother carved up by some mugger? Something like that, I bet… something like that.” – Name unknown, except for “The Joker,” submitted by B. Wayne, Class of ’39, Dean Emeritus)So, everybody’s got issues, as reflected in our school’s motto, “Si vos es rabidus satis ut gero amiculum, vos es unus” (If you are crazy enough to wear the cape, you ARE one). But there are issues, and then there are issues. Usually, an aspiring crusader manages to overcome personal demons enough to properly do the job, and not become the very thing he or she is supposed to be fighting against. A study of what drove the prospective crimefighter depicted above to his calling would be helpful, as he has already revealed serious flaws, and his judgment is already suspect. Our training here at the school absolutely insists upon conquering personal issuies before a student even gets NEAR weaponry…
@HAL69: good comment my friend. Be well._______The PC is – by his own admission – going to start hunting people and shooting them. Probably sooner than later._______Perhaps when Annie joins him she will be captured or her memory will return. Possibly by a blow on the head._______Be happy and healthy my friends.
