    Morning, Anniephans!

This is kind of an inside joke. Today’s strip was originally published on August 5, 2004. Little Orphan Annie first appeared August 5, 1924. This was Jay Maeder’s way of pointing out this strip marks Annie’s 80th anniversary!

Here’s the link to the 2006 Annie story, “What Bugs You.”

I wish they would start the Annie comic strip from the very first one.

I doubt they’ll do that since IDW is printing The Complete Little Orphan Annie. But I do wish they’d run the complete “Annie” strip, starting with the Leonard Starr stories back in December, 1979. I and several others even contacted GoComics and requested the same, and got nowhere.

To Starman 1948: Thanks for the information on amnesia and for correction on amnesia Vs. insomnia. Sounding alike but being so very different. By the way, I believe you’re referring to the limbic system, not the lambic system (which might be the cause of insomnia). :-) Stay helpful, my friend.

@Ray C: your are welcome. And you are correct the spell checker changed my words. I will try to be more diligent in the future. Thanks for your response. Be well my friend.
