Good morning fans. Thanks, david42, for the new link to Annie comics circa 1983.

The Warlord of Pluto sure looks like Ming the Merciless of Flash Gordan fame.

Unbeknownst to most, Ming’s brother Bing became Warlord of Pluto, and stopped using his given name when people kept getting the two of them mixed up. ;-)

I’m a fan of the few issues of Charlton’s 50s Space Western series that I’ve seen. Stan Campbell’s art gets really good at times — inspired, like. Almost too good for the lousy printing press the company used (they owned a four-color press that had been used to print cereal boxes).
