Margueritem: Why do you (seemingly) automatically assume the fly at the door is female? Dogsniff appears to agree (Avon Lady). And the rest seem to think it’s a male “character”I just find it curious.

The fly burrowing under the sheets is fleeing from an “arachnid" or spider. Count the legs (8) and note the lack of wings.
