of course any business that buys insurance for its employees need to provide necessary and proper health care to women as well as men. that includes necessary and proper abortions, and contraceptives.
i can’t imagine why it wouldn’t.
why should any business be allowed to force it’s women employees to die due to something like an ectopic pregnancy?
Anyone who doesn’t want to use birth control doesn’t have to. But anyone who does want to use it (Catholics included — and a lot of Catholics do use birth control) should have it included in their health insurance.
Remember when Joe Wilson was attacked for saying “You Lie!” when Obama claimed his healthcare law wouldn’t fund abortions?
Remember when the Founding Fathers wrote “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”?
Obamacare has put into law requirements that everyone – and I mean everyone (since insurance is now mandatory) – has to pay for things like the morning after pill, which has no function OTHER than causing abortion. So score one for Joe Wilson.
And you say the church should “stay out of the government’s business?” Yeah, I’m pretty sure that was the intent of the First Amendment. Not.
^^^that’s right, so what?i have to pay for war, graft, corruption and faith based initiatives. I don’t want to pay for jet engines who’s planes have been cancelled just because they are in a republican district. and I don’t want to pay for bailouts of banks.
no difference at all.
i don’t want to pay for any of that. tough on me, tough on you.
