Take Alice’s advice, Petey.

Funny, I don’t remember this one.The other P.J. Piehole’s ones I’ve recognized immediately.

Kinda depressing to have that “lurking” over your dinner table.

The purple will go great with the orange food.

The color scheme of the P.J. Piehole’s wall is depressing, I grant you. But, Petey, you’ve got to focus on your project! Don’t let your surroundings distract you!

Alice has such a pragmatic approach to life and Petey is so completly oppostie. My two daughters are like that; hard to believe they are sisters actually, one is a cheerful optimist and the other is a sensitive introvert.

At least they’re not making fun of the banjo on the wall!

I don’t know. I think the place has a rather “Tiki” kind of theme to it.

Yes but obviously Petey is “Con Tiki” rather than “Pro Tiki”.

Love the way some of the pictures on the wall sharpen up in the second panel . . .

When I was a kid my parents took my sisters and i to an italian restaurant that had big italian clown puppets hanging from the walls and ceiling. Those were even more disturbing.

This is seriously good life advice..!
