    Agreed! Too many drugged children just because their parents can’t/won’t deal with natural behavior and society reacts to the rude untrained kids by helping parents make bad choices.

    Amen!! Give the kids gym class and recess to get their energy out and that would probably work better than a daily Ritalin! ;-)

    How about some of these parents spend some of that energy and time they waste on reading about ADD and taking kids to docs (who get kickbacks from writing prescriptions), on their kids for a change. Turn off their TV’s, video games and computers and read together, or go for a nice walk, or do something that requires patience and concentration. If more people taught their kids skills that require patience and concentration maybe more kids would find it easier to BE patient and more able to concentrate.
