Altar of the Church of Man-made Global Climate Change.
The major difference between this, and other regions, is that while most religions depend upon doctrines, so admitted as such - hence, blind faith, the CMMGCC swears that its believe system is based upon science, though it cannot be debated, for its basic hypothesis are labeled as ‘accepted facts”.
In real science there are no ‘accepted facts’, as opposed to assumptions. Even matters as basic as say, gravity, are subject of debate and continued study.
Human’s comment is a prime example of what Roger said: “if you don’t support them, without question, then you are against the Earth.”
Notice that human doesn’t debate the information presented by the others, he just accuses them of wanting to pollute the earth. He’s even got to bring religion into it, as if that has anything to do with it. You really have to feel sorry for him, being that deluded and brain-washed.
The whole “global warming/climate change” issue seems to be more of a political issue than a scientific one; a means of controlling people through fear. The Kyoto treaty was nothing more than a ‘lets knock America down a notch or two’ ploy. This became evident by the fact that, when the United States didn’t sign the treaty, all the countries in the European Union protested this. Never mind the fact that none of them signed it either (except for Romania, who signed it only because their status as a third world nation exempted them from all the restrictions), which the main-stream media, of course, neglected to mention.
“Global warming is a fraud. Every intellectually honest person knows it.”
You obviously have no idea how academics works. This flap over emails is how it always worked with smoking and cancer. The cigarette companies would find one study with a problem, and use that to discredit the entire idea that smoking causes cancer. Once it got to be so obvious that they couldn’t deny it any longer, the cigarette companies switched to the “choice” argument.

And so it is with global warming.

Let’s have this debate in, say, 10 years.

Murph…10 years is too long..not because of the rate of climate change…but because of what these idiots will cost us.
