Since I moved there are no more blue herons, white egrets, sand hill cranes, mallards, and anhingas for the cat to watch.Just these little gray birds and bunnies. Lots of bunnies.

Someone has been peeking in our windows I suspect, this happens at our house all the time.

So do the birds. They look mighty healthy.

It takes a lot of cat food for him to convince himself it was one of those little fat birds instead.

There’s a word for that kind of eating but I can’t remember what it is.

Our cat does that funny chattering thing when watching the birdies. Something like us watching a food commercial, I guess. Yum Yum!

How old is Ludwig now? I tried to look at old strips, but could only go back 10 years, and it looks like he was there then.

Our old man cat(who looks very much like Ludwig) loves a Sunrise Earth show, about South America. The little birds and Toucans just drives him nuts!

Uh, no- the birds look muscle-bound and strong- Ludwig doesn’t realize they are just puffed up against the cold.
