This reminds me of one of my favorite “Far Side” strips where the cave man’s spear has stuck in the ground just in front of a mammoth. His fellow cave men are chanting, “Air spear, air spear!”
I think my Grandpa Fred has that guy’s baseball card. Although I don’t think the Rocky Mountain Raptors ever played against the Bedrock Barefoots. The Barefoots are actually in a league of their own.
