Kind of hard to forget the guy who presided over the loss of 2.6 million jobs in 2008 alone. One of the products of our poor education system here in Texas is a strong showing by Republicans – think there is a correlation there somewhere?
this blog is like the senate. a lot of finger pointing and blaming the other. the reason I don’t have aTV to watch a bunch blame each other for our problems.
Well, let’s see. On the Demo side we have FDR, Truman, Kennedy, Johnson, and Clinton. On the Rep side we have Nixon, Ford, Reagan, 1term Bush, and 2term Bush.Who would like to forget before 2009 now?
Pity has nothing to do with hate. Well, except if you hate what he did to this country, our troops, Afghanistan, Iraq. It was not “W” who did the damage, but those lurking behind him, running the show, like Cheney, Feith, Rove, Perle, Wolfowitz, and many others who’ve now profited quite nicely from what they’ve done to “their” country.
The simple fact is, Perry DOES make many Texans think about their cession from the union, and whether they ever really came back.

Molly Ivins: there’s an entire www one could use to read about her or read her work.

No, it just seems that way to angry wingnuts who can’t remember anything from the eight years BEFORE that time.
( Except that everything that went wrong during that period was BILL CLINTON’S fault. )

Yeah, just like that one about sun rising in the East. Boring yes,, but still the undeniable truth.

I just noticed the Shiner Beer logo on the lampshade over the pool table. Good brew, if you can find it.

Let’s have another beer and maybe we can forget about both, or maybe we can just send TExas (less Austin and San Antonio off under its lone star.

I still think Texas’s master plan is to get Perry safely in Washington, and THEN secede…
