My cat is strictly indoors, but when he does go outside, I go with him so that he doesn’t end up running into the street; of course, he usually just stays near the front door and rolls around on the porch.
Robert Heinlein wrote about a cat who made his master go around and open every door, looking for “The Door Into Summer”. The book made me a science fiction lover and a cat lover.
Mine gets out every once in a while.. End up tracking thwe little… Ball of cat… under the bushes…. Where yes it is up to me drag his carcass out from under.. All the while looking at me as if saying.. “Some one let the cat out…”
