Or has been romantically reclined. Repeatedly.

The cleverly-named and precociously mature Percy (Shelley) wears a collar and tie and drinks coffee from a thermos. The other boy is dumb enough to make a mistake about the number of kids; but thinks up (with a dazed expression) an extraordinarily witty aside.I’m absolutely astounded by that strip.

Ummmmm, that would be 13 kids…not 12.

I have (had) four siblings (5 kids). Three of us have B’days in September, 8th, 10th and 15th. I asked my Mom about that once and , she just smiled and said, “honey, it get chilly in the winter”. Makes sense to me.:-))
