You don’t always know if an animal is blind. One clue is if they bump into furniture after you’ve rearranged them. They’ve memorized where everything is.
rats actually do that for their friends. they have been seen to hold one end of a stick in their mouth and led the other rat with it., or nudge them to where they want to be.
