Well ‘dark night of the soul’ is over. let’s hope for a sunny morning.

My squirrels are as content as a squirrel can be ( they are only making half-hearted attempts to get into my bird feeders).

Perhaps Frank’s next crisis could lead to an opening up of his world. This strip is very claustrophobic in regard to characters, locations, and events. Page has real talent as an artist, as his Sundays show, but he needs to do something to juice up this strip overall. And if he ever does another sequence ruminating on closing the strip, I’ll be outta here.

…and so as the sun rises over the squirrel-tail, we begin another year. I will admit it would be nice to expand your strip a bit Frank. You are a good artist with some very unique ideas…
